Smalltalk is an object encapsulated and dynamically typed OO language.
The users of this language brought about a revolution in software engineering. The introduction of Design Patterns is one key example.
Early versions of Smalltalk were designed by Alan Kay.
Other individuals that were significantly involved were Kent Beck and Ralph Johnson.
