Talk:Define default values via explicit protocol pattern

There it is. But what is this thing about default initialisation? initialising an int to zero is just as useless as leaving it uninitialised if zero is a meaningless number. At what point can you know what a meaningful initial value is? Obviously after the decisions are made about data structure but how long after? --Jason Clutterbuck 03:57, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
