OK, my definition is a little thin on references. I have extrapolated this definition from the Eric Gunnerson and Bruce Eckel conversation metioned above. Perhaps not the most academically sound approach; as such, I am keen for any criticism. --TK 23:55, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
